Services Offered



​Dr. Villalon conducts a variety of psychological and forensic assessments.  These assessments provide valuable information about an individual's behavior, personality and current level of functioning (strengths and limitations). These assessments are administered on individuals who are having problems at work or in personal relationships. It identifies anger management issues, interpersonal skill problems, personality traits that might contribute to the problem or emotional disorders. 
These assessments typically include clinical interviews, collateral interviews of others who are close to the individual, psychological tests, self-report questionnaires and record review.

Some of the different assessments that Dr. Villalon offers are:


​​​​Pre-Employment Assessment:


  • Provides the hiring agent with information to assist them in making informed selection decisions.
  • These assessments include applicants of high-risk personnel.


Threat Assessment:


  • Investigates the seriousness of a situation and the likelihood that the situation may escalate and pose a hazard.
  • Develops a strategy that seeks to mitigate the risk of violence.


​Fitness for Duty Evaluation:


  • Fitness for Duty Evaluations are a component of the threat assessment and management process.
  • The purpose of this evaluation is to assess the employee's current ability to meet the job demands by evaluating the person, the situation and provide recommendations for management based upon detailed information about the employee.

Sex Offender Assessment:


  • Determines an individual's personality, motivational level and responsibility characteristics.


  • Identifies appropriate and deviant sexual arousal responses.


  • Identifies risk factors.


  • Provides areas for treatment and management.


Custody Evaluation:


  • Utilizes a process that evaluates the family and makes a recommendation to the court for custody, visitation and a parenting plan that is in the child's best interest.


Criminal Competency Evaluations:


  • Fit to proceed in trial: Determines if the individual understands the judicial process and can assist their attorney with forming a rational defense. 


  • Penal Responsibility: Determines if, at the time of the offense, the individual had a mental illness; and, as a result of the mental illness, if they had the capacity to appreciate the wrongfulness of their actions (cognitive capacity) or to conform their actions to the requirements of the law (volitional capacity).


  • Dangerousness: Determines the level of risk of violence to self, others and property.


Individual Therapy:

  • Adolescents and adults who are experiencing depression, anxiety, anger and other life challenges.
  • Determines an individual's personality, motivational level and responsibility characteristics.
